52. Childhood Diseases

Read with settings, audio and Bible references

Jesus taught that the last times would be distinguished from all previous times by the special presence of all kinds of diseases. We live in this epoch and from our own experience see the fulfillment of these prophecies. Sometimes we cannot even determine whether these diseases come into our lives naturally or whether the accomplices of the enemy of the soul purposefully harm humanity. The Lord gave us a unique body and embedded in it all kinds of protective functions of the organism that can themselves determine danger and resist it. In addition to this, the Lord determined auxiliary means that will maintain the health of any person at the proper level and help the internal forces of the organism resist many ailments. These allies include such natural factors as: sunlight, clean air, clean water, clean environment, natural food products. Human factors: beneficially prepared food, physical activity, hardening, moderation in everything, refusal of what destroys and kills, rest, cleanliness and hygiene, absence of sources of stress and faith in God. Any child born into the world receives as a gift an earthly body in which the soul and spirit of a person can dwell. And this miracle of creation is transferred into the power of parents, on whom responsibility before God is placed for proper care and worthy upbringing. As a rule, young parents do not yet have personal experience in raising and caring for an infant. But here intuition, kindhearted parents, all kinds of advisors and friends who have experienced a similar event come to their aid. But the best help is the knowledge that young father and mother managed to acquire by studying the science of childbirth and child-rearing, using the works of wise specialists in this field. But still, when your tiny creation begins to get sick, many young mothers tend to panic and lose peace, searching for the right solution and way out. Diseases and their course can differ from one another based on the degree of danger and the strength of resistance of the child's organism. The intestines of an infant whose mother breastfeeds are very susceptible to what the mother eats, because mother's milk transmits to the child the entire diet, all acids and vitamins that entered the nursing mother's stomach. A sensitive woman immediately reacts to the baby's mood and begins to look for the cause of their inadequate behavior or condition. They say that if something doesn't kill us, it makes us stronger. The human immune system works on this principle. Any virus, pathogen, infection or foreign bacteria, getting into the organism, is immediately recognized by immunity, which enters into battle with the danger and begins to destroy the enemy, creating new antibodies that will subsequently immediately destroy the familiar enemy, as they have it in memory. But this victory does not always happen quickly. Immunity needs time to create what will successfully defeat the disease. How does this look in life? A child who has suffered some infectious or viral disease, as a rule, no longer gets sick with the same disease, as their immunity immediately recognized the familiar enemy and destroyed it upon repeated contact. But a person who has recovered or is sick can become a carrier of their disease and transmit it to other people in various ways, without suspecting it themselves, and the virus, passing from one child to another, infects everything weak and accessible. Children, coming into contact with other children, as a rule exchange their diseases and their immunity reacts to everything new and unfamiliar and turns on new protective properties of the organism and remembers everything it encountered. Vaccinations can also influence the formation of protective properties of the organism, but currently are quite a controversial topic, as they can cause undesirable side effects. But at the same time, it's important to consider that in some cases they are prevention of deadly dangerous diseases and contribute to protection from known diseases. The safest and most effective means in fighting diseases are God's factors and principles that He gave to the world through Health Reform and teaches us not only to treat disease, but also to understand where they come from and how to resist them. Fresh clean air, clean water, proper nutrition and sunlight successfully neutralize many diseases in their very embryo. Many herbs contain such forces of nature that, with wise application, help the organism emerge from the most complex and dangerous diseases. And prayer and trust in God can work miracles in the most hopeless situations. But despite the abundance of auxiliary and natural means, our children still get sick, and sometimes are even born with congenital defects or with limited abilities. And if someone has a healthy baby, doctors already consider this a miracle and rejoice at such luck. But an infant's health is, as a rule, not an accident, but the result of wise and correct lifestyle of both parents. Many sinful dependencies and inclinations of parents can be passed on to their generations, and for many parental "whys" one should look for the answer in their own lives. Any mother finds it easier to get sick herself than to see her child suffer. But previously acquired knowledge helps make wise decisions and find a wise approach to caring for a sick child. Calling or visiting a pediatrician or family doctor can also become necessary in complex cases, but may not always be the best solution, as a doctor is also human, who can make mistakes and suggest treatment methods that may contradict parents' principles, but in serious situations the Lord allows traditional medicine to interfere in the course of disease and save a child's life from inevitable death or resist dangerous viral infection in a generally recognized way. When giving a child any medications, parents need to be guided not only by feelings, but also understand that the disease is caused not by the absence and deficiency of these drugs, but by some violation, and it's more important to establish the cause of the disease and eliminate it. But one should not underestimate the actions of recognized medications either. If you have healthy children, do not be proud of this and do not consider yourself wiser than those whose one disease is replaced by another. The healer of any disease is God, Who allows someone to be sick and die, and can heal someone by prayer of faith at any stage or not allow any ailment into your life at all. He watches how His children accept the light of Sanitary Reform and live in it. Prayer of faith works miracles, but it is not a panacea for all diseases. If there are gross violations of health principles, then faith in God will not give you healing and you should not tempt the Lord in your ignorance, asking Him to perform a miracle of healing while ignoring the laws of health. But when a mother does everything possible on her part and is powerless before the approaching catastrophe, then her prayer of faith will be heard, but what the answer will be—let this right remain in God's power.
